Caps and game modes
Caps are Sporting's in-app currency and the stake for every game mode. They are earned, never bought.
How Caps work
- Caps are earned through play and participation: posting, joining conversations, daily activity, and game-mode results.
- Daily rewards are capped, so consistent participation beats volume.
- Caps have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be purchased with real money, sold, transferred outside the app, or redeemed for cash. The full rules are in the Terms of Use.
Fantasy
Fantasy is a market-style game built on real player performance. You build a team from a player market, set lineups, and settle results daily against what those players actually did. Playing well levels your team up over time.
Fantasy supports two formats:
- Solo: your own team, your own progression.
- Leagues: compete against a group. Leagues can charge an entry fee in Caps that forms a pot, paid out to the top finishers when the league ends at the close of the season.
You can run multiple entries at once, for example a solo team alongside league teams, each with its own roster and level.
Career mode: The Agency
The Agency is a longer-horizon mode. You sign a roster of up to 15 real players and your balance rises and falls with their real daily performance, downside included. Players develop through tiers as you invest in them, so roster construction and patience matter more than day-to-day churn.
What Sporting will not build
There are no odds, no wagers, no pick'em contests, and no mechanics that convert money into results. Spending never buys performance; game modes are decided by real player outcomes and your decisions.
